Join us for a free intro and training on Study Circles - a powerful form of community dialogue. The training will focus on the curriculum for "Building Stronger Neighborhoods." Study Circles are small group, democratic, highly participatory discussions, which may take place over a period of weeks or months, and that give everyday folks opportunities to make a difference in their communities.
You can create your own Study Circle curriculum, or use guides that have already been developed on a wide range of community issues to download other guides (see the StudyCircles Website).
This training is being customized for our Soul of Miami network, and will be led by national expert John Abercrombie. The first 14 participants to sign up get free hard copies of several curriculum guides including "Building Stronger Neighborhoods." We'll also be discussing how we might introduce participants in our Soul of Miami Summit to different forms of dialogue, including Study Circles.
