Russian-Jewish Heritage Meetup

This meetup is open to all those interested in the sharing and promotion of Russian-Jewish heritage. It brings together U.S.-born Americans of Russian-Jewish descent and recent newcomers of different generations. We share and spread our knowledge about distinctive contributions made by Jews from the former Russian Empire/Soviet Union to Big Apple's past, present and future - the arts, social movements & ideas, education & scholarship, religion & spirituality, law & business, comedy & drama, internet blogging & urban dictionary. We have a common interest in the place of social justice in Jewish communities and in Russian-Jewish culture. Our meetups include conversations on a range of topics, led by our members or invited special guests, and trips to related events, exhibitions, and films.
